I have a Ron Propel pocket fisherman in my truck.
I have one in my wife's car too.
I've used it few times and even caught some fish with it.

My son and I both have the Popel Pocket Fisherman and it’s a handy little piece of gear. We’ve used it at some of our SEP gatherings for fresh water lake fishing. And yep, it works pretty well. Small enough to toss in a pack or trunk. IIRC, it was less than $20.
