A couple of heaping bean spoons, a couple of rice, flavor and wrap it up. Tasty and filling. Not sure how many I could make from this.I'm guessing about 8...

Yep, that would work. I'm rarely at fast food places, but when I'm there I pick up extra condiments like Taco Bell hot sauces, Chik-Fa-La sauces etc. Small, light and take up hardly any room in the fridge or drawer.
A man cannot call himself peaceful if he is not capable of violence. If he's not capable of violence he isn't peaceful, he is harmless. There is a distinct difference.

Not at all. I'm actually fairly high protein, mildly Paleo as far as diet goes. Having Shrimp Teriyaki Stir-fry tonight (no rice!). Had Salmon and Asparagus Tuesday. This is just fun for Zombie Corona Apocalypse.

I have arthritis and get my blood ran fairly regularly.

I had one bean & rice taco! Thanks for the concern though...

I love the Green Tobasco. I need to make a bin for Arby's sauce, Taco Bell packets etc. Girlfriend collects that stuff.

You found me out! I'm actually Jumping' Jack Flash!!!!

So finished the Rice/Beans. All in all, a good time. Great learning experience.

for meals - additives are key! Corn, tomatoes/chiles, etc. Rice adds some nice carb/bulk as well.

I would have loved to have some rice milk & sugar though. Grandmas cheap pudding substitute when I was kid.

Pulling this post up from the depths.

Anyone know what spices Zatain's (I don't recall how it is spelled and just found them this week) is using for their red beans and rice and Dirty Rice blends?

I would like to cut down on the salt they have in those blends and make some shelf stable mixes. The box mixes last me 2-3 days. I do add meat and veggies to them to extend them out a bit.
