Cicadas coming out in full force, just starting to notice them

Read an article that they taste like peanut butter to animals and that they will eat so many of them it gives them the runs. Yet, they are supposed to be high in protein.
“Apparently cicadas taste like peanut butter to dogs,” Dr. Ellen Cole of Clark Animal Hospital said. “While it’s not a problem if they decide to eat a few, if they consume too many, it can cause vomiting and diarrhea.”
