You need to slice that beauty, get some fresh made mozzarella, top with olive oil / basil /salt-pepper

Well the tomato season has ended. All the plants removed.

Still have carrots in the ground and that will be the last of the garden for the season.

I've got one tomato still needing to be harvested . . . and a BUNCH of basil!

Our growing season will be ending this weekend

Basil grew very well this year here.... parsley not so much.
Stringbeans so-so
lots of garlic waiting to get pulled.

Time to bring in the potted Fig plants soon, they also did well this year,... just waiting for all leaves to fall off

We're going to be in the twenties Sunday night - time to harvest the basil and the last couple tomatoes.

With two nights in the low 20s, are season has come to an end.

Now time to start planning for next year.

I know the wife has been ordering heirloom seeds. We even used some of the seeds that she had saved from previous years. She is the expert when it comes to that part of the process, I'm told where to dig and I dig.
