Haven't carried a BUG in years.... but when I was in uniform, it was a Colt Jr .25
Small gun carried only as emergency. Use to fit in my cuff case.
Later as det. ( undercover ), it was a S&W chief at times on weak side along with a Sig P226.( covered )

Now retired, I just carry extra mags.. sometimes one on person, but several in truck...

yes, still have a few bandoleers of en bloc clips from the military (30-06 ) and also half MOON clips for my S&W 25

Never have. I do on occasion add additional support to my main gun, which stays my main gun.

Example: Traveled to Tallahassee very near/in Riot high points.

H&K + Mags came along with my Walther. But that was "more" gun....not a backup.
