Woke up to 43 degrees, tomorrow is forecast to be 33 degrees. That's pretty cold for this part of Florida. Won't last but a day or so then it will start warming up a bit.

Actually had to put the heat on this morning. Although not as cold as what you guys are going through right now, it was cold for Florida! I don't actually remember the last time we had the heat on in the house. Maybe once or twice last year..maybe.

Looks like yesterday was another big cold weather warning day for the northeast. Lots of airport closings and millions affected by a foot or more of snow across a wide region.

Down here in the south we had rain and in some areas, unfortunately, tornadoes. We has fairly substantial wind all day yesterday with a LOT of powerful gusts of wind. Some of the bridges were closed down.

We were supposed to get 3-4" of snow on Tuesday. Got about an inch but it's continued to snow off and on over the last couple of days. A little at a time. All previous snow had melted away. It's been a very mild winter so far. We're about 10" of snow behind normal for Jan/Feb.

It wasn't forecast but it snowed again last night 2 or 3". Forecast still says snow flurries with heavier snow moving in on Sunday.
