Homemade protein bars

Post by David »

Always a favorite...

4 cups of oatmeal
2 heaping table spoons of peanut butter (I use almond butter)
1 cup milk (I use almond milk)
4 scoops of protein powder

That's the basic ingredients. mix until it is a soft, moist but not runny consistency. Adjust the amounts as needed. Simply put in a glass pan, lightly greased, cut into the size squares you want (best to do this now as it's easier) and stick in the fridge. No baking necessary.

Optional ingredients are any types of seeds (I like pumpkin, sunflower etc.), chocolate or other type of chips, granola, or whatever you feel like tossing in for flavor. Adjust the liquid and/or nut butter so the consistency is moist but not runny.

Simply take out of the fridge, but in a sandwich baggy and take with you. Good for hours out of the fridge. It's a very filling snack that has protein, fat and carbs.
A man cannot call himself peaceful if he is not capable of violence. If he's not capable of violence he isn't peaceful, he is harmless. There is a distinct difference.
