Another day down. On most of the machines I was able to increase by 5lbs the weight I was doing and still make the 3 sets of 8. One machine I struggled with making the 3 sets of 8 and actually had to stop. The other machine I reduced the weight so I could do the 3 sets of 8.

So, I got it all entered in my log so I know what to work on Friday.

Tomorrow is abs and legs.

Worked my way through another workout. We ended up getting there about 10 minutes earlier than normal so i had few extra minutes. I talked the wife into trying the step machine with me. I did 5 floors before I shut the stupid thing off which was a grand total of 2 minutes and 12 seconds. Heart rate was at 154, so I think I need to work on that a little more.

I figured since I made it on the elliptical for 25 minutes how hard could it be to walk up steps? I found out.

Made a new personal best, 30 minutes on the elliptical today. Told Rhonda I might try for 40 minutes on Saturday, she just rolled her eyes.

Nothing exciting today. Just the normal Abs and legs workout. My wife is starting to meet people at the gym, they are coming over to talk to use while we workout. Although I spend most of the time gasping for air, so I do very little talking.

Rough day today. I struggled on several of the machines and one of them I had to reduce the weight to finish the set. I told Rhonda my arms just felt like rubber today.

Although she did great, she increased the weight on every machine but one by 5 to 10 lbs.

This is a picture of Rhonda and I today after we had just finished 40 minutes of the elliptical. I know, I still have a long ways to go, but it is nice to see that I have made an improvement. 

I still would like to go down another 30 lbs, which will be a slow process, but I'm working on it.

Another workout complete. Didn't increase any of the weight to speak of, but did add 20 minutes of cardio on the elliptical today once I was complete with lifting.

ABS and legs today. Plus 20 minutes on the elliptical. I had sweat pouring off me, but I was able to make the full 20 minutes without any issues.

All cardio today and set a new personal record of 45 minutes on the elliptical.

Today was abs and legs. My legs were like spaghetti today, I'm guessing form the 45 minutes on the elliptical yesterday. I really struggled with the leg workout.

My ab workout went well and I was even able to complete the 3 set of 5 assisted chin ups for the first time. So next week I will remove some of the assistance and keep working on my goal of being able to do them all by myself.

We finished off with a short 15 minute elliptical workout before we called it a day. We are trying to do a little cardio everyday. I would like to get to the point where I can come of my blood pressure medicine.
