That would make a dandy trunk gun.  Lots of little spots for all sorts of gear.

Pry the butt plate off a plastic Ruger stock (including the take down) and you have a hollow space to store all kinds of stuff/ammo in. Use ranger bands (inner tub bands) to hold the stock and barrel together.

There.... I just saved you $150.

That's true, functional works but cool always costs extra. Wink

Seriously though, the Magpul gives me an idea. You could cut out the bottom of a regular hollow plastic ruger stock and use the barrel/forearm on regular takedown the same way.

I am such a cheap Bs'tard.

I've been looking at several different breakdown carbines that take 9mm Glock mags. Would be a great addition in my BOB to have a sidearm and long gun that shared caliber and mags.
