You'll like them.  Great for a EDC keychain.  Fired mine up today, first strike.  Smile

David, can I use denatured alcohol as a fuel in these things?

Yes.  Look at the zippo thread for all sorts of fuels.

I have been running some 190 proof grain alcohol in my zippo for the past year (this is one that I keep in my truck). I put a ranger band around it and it will last for 3 to 4 months before it dries out. I also have a 4 oz flask of the alcohol in the truck for refills and other uses.

Got mines in today. Never mind the hands, I work with them.

I think you'll like it quite a bit.  Small and light enough to toss on a keychain and forget about (until needed).  I bought an O-ring kit at HFT and replaced the little thin O-ring with a thicker one.  I also put  a little silicone grease (Super Lube at HFT) on the threads (I do this with my flashlights as well to protect the threads).

It's a cool little piece of gear.

Fired up on the first strike this morning.  That's 184 days and running.  That's now past the 6 month mark so I've got to say that I'm thoroughly impressed.

$3 = small, effective, long lasting and very EDC fire-making capability.  This just may be a must-have for the prepper.   Exclamation
