California's 'foreclosure capital' to give away $500 a month to residents in experime

Reading the above article, the city is giving every person in the community $500 a month to spend on whatever they want. They have a population of 300,000 so that is $150,000,000 per month. The current tax rate in Stockton is 9%.

So, another step in trying to make a person more dependent on a government that will eventually turn them into slaves.

Watched a guy on Tucker Carlson the other night who is a Socialist (complete with that stupid pink beanie hat).  Tucker asked him to name a country where Socialism actually worked.  Guy couldn't and then said it didn't work in other countries due to the low literacy rate.  Not sure what that has to do with anything.

So in the article, a city that is already millions in the hole is going to start giving out free cash for 18 months to 100 citizens 'no strings attached'.  And who's going to pay for all of that?
Governmental dependance makes for poor self reliance.

Yep, they are trying with 100 to show 'proof' that it works and then they want to roll it out to everyone in the community.
