Winter Gardening

Harvesting the lettuce and kale now. Makes for a good smoothie and salad! Have some more work to do on the garden but yielding result.

Picked parsley, two kinds of radish today. The tomato plants from last year are about played out. Will be picking limes/navel oranges/tangerines later this month. This winter I had to hire a team of 7 to trim the fruit trees. They are 30 years old and I could no longer keep up with the trimming.

Still need to plant parsley and tomatoes. We use a lot of each of them just like the kale and lettuce.

Planted French radishes yesterday, for the French girlfriend. Today, I purchased cherry tomato plants which will do in tomorrow.

The tangerines will be finished today. Will pick another navel orange, year two of limited production. Also picked up some pineapple guava off the ground.

Wife picked up a couple of different kinds of parsley to plant.  Parsley, along with lettuce, kale and tomatoes is something we use a lot of.  Also grape leaves.
