decked out G3c
My decked out G3c with, optic, barrel, 15 round mag and new Viridian light. Still have to figure out how to mount the raised sights on it. The Taurus uses Glock sights so I need a tool to remove the front sight. The raised sights are so I can co-witness the red dot. http://i.imgur.com/Fib2mpb.jpg

Re: Deer Blinds 2024
To finish it up I'm going to put posts in the ground at the bottom of the stairs and run ropes up through the top posts and connect it to the box. That will serve as hand rails. I'm also going to get some spray foam and fill in some of the gaps in the roof. I'll do that once I get it set up in the w...

I thought I put this up. www.shoptaurus.com has it's usual holiday (memorial day) sale going on They've actually been running it in conjunction with the NRA show/meeting last week and continued it with the Memorial Day sale. They have a Viridian weapons light with charger pack which seems to be a go...

Taurus stuff including light
It's kind of funny how much I have invested in my Taurus's. I don't think I've bought anywhere near the add ons or accessories for any other gun like I have for my Taurus TX22 and G3c. Granted some of the stuff, optics and lights can be used on other guns and I just happened to buy them on sale at s...

Re: Fitness Goals
Now that the weather has warmed up my wife and I have been walking. We are up to 3.5 miles about every other day. Weights at the gym on off days along with some other cardio (stair stepper, treadmill etc). At least when we are home, time of the year when we are going to the woods house 3-4 days a we...

Re: Fitness Goals
My fitness goals have changed slightly. Still in training for next year's adventure race, but.... My wife and I just booked an adventure cruise in Alaska. We had been to Alaska in 2017 when we rented an RV and did the interior, fishing, hiking and camping for 26 days. This time we are doing the insi...

More MRE & HDR info
Actually been learning a thing or two about MREs. -There is a date stamped/imbedded in the heavy plastic outer packaging. It is a 4 digit code in the Julian calendar. To convert it to our date you need to do a google search for MRE date code. When converted it tells you when the MRE or HDR was made,...

Re: Survival Cache
I just found my note books, maps and binder with all my info I put together for my bike bugout. I noticed in my plan that I had the railroad tracks marked out. There are tracks that go north then swing north west almost the entire way. Some of those tracks have been turned into bike paths (Rails to ...
