Re: Weapon Mounted Lights (WML)

Who has what light on what gun? OK. So I'm late to the party on this one. What light-- Insight Technologies M3X with LED. What gun-- Gen3 G22. Both were purchased in 2006. The M3X originally had incandescent bulbs but about 10 years ago they came out with an LED bezel that you could buy and upgrade...

Night vision: Binocular or monocular?

I am interested in getting something in the NV line. I have looked at bdc's post but I cannot help but think that there are some units that are worth having. I have been scouring reviews on the good ol' wide wide world of web and realize that there is a lot of stuff to sift through. So, I am left wi...

Re: Your EDC multi-tool

I carry a Leatherman Wave. The nylon carry case is also able to accommodate a pair of tweezers and a little tool called a Pocketwrench II. I need to get a better pair of tweezers, though. I also have one of the small SAKs on my keychain-- for those times when I really need to pick my teeth.

Well, for those of you who have been waiting with 'bated breath about what I might decide, the wait is over. I just ordered a 3-12x scope for my 20" AR and the 2-8x that now resides on said rifle will move to the Dissipator. Mischief managed.

Re: Long term food storage ideas

I finally can come up with better numbers. 5 pounds of flour can make slightly over 7 pounds of hard tack. The Civil war ration (smaller people) was one pound a day plus meat and greens/coffee. Yesterday I used 5 pounds of flour and another 5 pounds today. I will use another 5 pounds of flour tomor...
