Re: Paul Harrell

I like him. He presents well, has a dry wit, and gives reasons for the "why" he chooses or recommends something. Note that this is a 2 part video.

Re: Night vision: Binocular or monocular?

Thanks for the things to think about! I'll look at Opticsplanet and see what they have. Outside of just having a night vision option for "what ifs" I can see some routine use of it at home. Where I live is heavily wooded and it would be interesting to have the ability to see what might be ...

Nice revolver! Looks like you made a really good deal.

You can always put some duck tape on it to tone the shine down but still leave it a nice silver/grey.

Re: Night vision: Binocular or monocular?

Alright, I am leaning heavily to the monocular type. The compelling argument for that is when in use you still have one eye that stays dark adjusted. Another consideration is that the monoculars are generally less expensive than their binocular counterparts.

Cash on hand...

What would be your minimum for cash on hand for emergency prep? Considering that there is a wide variety of income levels what do you think would be an amount that you would recommend that would be doable by most people? As for me, my minimum sweet spot is $300; what I would recommend would be at le...

Re: We didn't change anything

I am basically with you on this. Not only from having a sense of security re: the ability to defend family, home, and self but also from not having a sense of urgency to rush out and buy food and other necessities. It has caused me to review what I have and what I may need to add in the future. I di...

Re: Weapon Mounted Lights (WML)

The M3X is built like a tank. If it were to ever stop working (which I doubt) I would simply replace it. And, yes, the spill from the light is ample to illuminate any room in my house.
