Re: Vehicle preps

Now on my "to get" list: Socket wrench set (Harbor Freight), some sort of air pump, a tire repair kit. Thanks!

Re: Vehicle preps

I keep a few tools in my cars. I am about to re-evaluate my car tool kit. What do y'all think would be a bare minimum kit? After the minimum kit what would you add in? What to your mind are "must haves" and what are "nice to haves"?

Re: Night vision: Binocular or monocular?

My initial reaction was thinking it might be a great dane that had wandered through the yard earlier that day. The height of head above ground would fit my estimate. And the thought of a person is also a possibility. The problem there is one of terrain on that side of my house and the density of the...

Re: Night vision: Binocular or monocular?

I note that this thread has received a fair amount of traffic (in comparison to other threads in this forum topic) so I offer this for your consideration: So, why do I want a night vision scope? I am not an “operator” and don’t plan on becoming one. I don’t need something that will attach to a helme...

Re: Sig thread

Around my area local gun shops have the P365 at $599. Palmetto State Armory has them for $499. This is the best price that I have seen on these pistols. But then my price checking has really only been in the past 2 months, on the interwebz, and in my immediate area. This was the price point I was go...

Re: Newest gun or latest upgrade

Yes, that video was one of the review sources. There is the part of me that echos Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor and growls "more power!" It was a struggle at first to overcome the urge to get the +P loading but the standard load was far more consistent and the +P only had a marginal ...

Re: Newest gun or latest upgrade

(My apologies-- I screwed up the quote function on this one!) Took care of it for ya :) A lot has changed in the 9mm landscape over the last several decades. I think you'll be well pleased. I still load mine with 124+P GD as I have a supply of them on hand from when it was issued. There are a lot o...

Re: Newest gun or latest upgrade

Great choice. I waited about a year and a half before I got one to allow the bugs to be worked out. Now all of that is old news, the P365 really has earned the label of 'game changer' imo. That was my last off-duty weapon and is now my main EDC pistol. Just can't beat the size, weight and capacity....

Re: 10MM

It seems as though the 10mm is on the ascendancy as I encounter more articles or posts about it. I honestly think that its best comparison cartridge is the .41 Magnum.

Re: Newest gun or latest upgrade

Those are really nice!

With that said and by comparison my post here has "performance issues" stamped all over it-- I have ordered a Sig P365. It may take 2-3 weeks to get here but the deed is done.
