I still do the cardboard egg-crate and dryer lint... wax from old candles mix in broken crayons, whatever... they all light fairly easy and burn good

Picked up some bic type lighters at the dollar store... filled up my kerosene container ( used to usu start fires in the outdoor fireplace but also for lanterns ). Picked up some Everclear 192 pf ....

I call it the 'boy scout" principle.... to be ready if needed. I don't tell many what we have, but try to just remind those others about the last big storm or two we've had and how did they do during same.... sometimes this gets them off their butts to do something. Most of the time people just...

Yes, they put sugar in everything...
That's why i make bread with whole wheat flour ... simple flour, water, yeast, touch of salt.
Allows me to have a slice now and then without the sugar issue of white bread. ( double carbs, whole wheat slows the blood sugar rise )
