Re: .357

A rifle in 357 is definitely more versatile. I'm surprised Ruger hasn't made the Ranch rifle in 357 mag or in 44 mag for that matter. With the high cost of lever guns these days a moderately priced bolt gun in those calibers would have a market. Ruger did make a 44 mag ranch type rifle, It use to b...

Re: EDC and Covid19 (and other contagions)

More important is just plain common sense....
In my home we don't wear shoes inside, 95% time change clothes from going out to in home, wash hands, etc.
Many don't think of the small things you can to do help prevent issues.

Find that many places either have very high prices on storage type foods, expect they will remain high for a while.

But a lot of the places still offer bulk with fairly good prices.... all depends on your needs and storage ability
I look for bulk sellers and/or granaries

Carry lysol wipes in pocket.. in zip lock to use as needed.
Mask in car as needed in this state to enter most stores.

Re: 357sig vs 357 magnum

You can always swap the G21 slide setup to the G20... same frame IIRC.
Here in NY, the frame is the reg'ed part.... slides are easily bought parts ( tho supposed to be reg'ed under same serial # as diff caliper )

Mags MAY work... they do in my Sig 220s with 45 and 10mm

Not to my knowledge... tho possible.
Isn't that a 45acp case necked down ? maybe for the G21.

Re: 357sig vs 357 magnum

With it being as easy as a drop in barrel

One of the features of the G20... 4 calipers by just a barrel change.
357 sig ( same case )
40 ( same case )
9 mm ( the other 9x25 ) (( some shoot reg 9mm 9x19 as it's cheap with an 11lb spring )) works 95% and much cheaper to shoot cause case a bit smaller
