Re: Guns-n-ammo buying craze
Not up here in the great north. Shelves are bare with even bird shot and trap loads gone in shotgun shells. I did find a few boxes od .25 ACP and 9x18r. Thank goodness I had stocked up a bit after the last run on guns and ammo. It is only going to get worse until mid to late spring next year dependi...

Re: DIY stairs
Under the stairs is the most under utilized space in a home. Right now I am trying to figure out a way to get a basement dug out, House was put on a semi raised foundation. Would be nice to have some more space to put in a home theater or something like that.

Re: The canteen/water bottle thread
I have kinda went a different direction. I have decided to keep a case of fresh water in my rig and rotate (drink) it as I need it. I do know they are not a durable as a canteen, but how long has your water been in there and what color is it? Can we say algee everyone? LOL. Seriously I think with BO...

Re: Leupold Yellowstone Binoculars Review
I am looking for some good glass now that my issues have all shaken out and the old pair left with the Ex. (Decent trade to bad she got a bit more than just that.) I was looking at the Nikon's and possibly the Vortex as I have a few cabela's coupons for $50 from here and there. I will have to see if...

Re: The survival fixed blade YOU would want?
In my get home bag I have of all things a Mora. Very generic and if something happens to it I will not be heart broken. It is the carbon steel version and hot (Boiling) Vinegar patnia'ed so it will not rust. It is very sharp and I have a stone in the bag for it. My back up knife is a folder ZT 560. ...

Re: Finally got one- Sig 365
Love mine, but the fact I forget it is there makes it interesting going to work. Had to put a yellow sticker on the dash panel, to remind myself to put it in the safe.
Re: Capacity
On road trips I carry completely differently. To be comfortable over 100s of miles, I wear gym shorts and a hoodie. My normal pocket/IWB gun is pretty useless without a belt. I go with a maxpedition shoulder bag on these trips. It sits on the passenger seat in reach while driving and on my body whe...

Yeah... I have upped my numbers instead of a single extra mag I carry 2 now. No, I am not paranoid, and if anyone calls me that, I ask, "who else did you tell?" On road trips I carry completely differently. To be comfortable over 100s of miles, I wear gym shorts and a hoodie. My normal po...

Re: 9mm PCC urges again...
Good choice. Really good price on the PC Charger too. Congrats. Thanks, yeah the price is what lead me to purchase it. I have been seeing them on GB for $700+, that and wanting one since the PC Carbine came out. The only negative of the PC Charger is the relatively short barrel so no real gain in m...
