Just a quick look at my new M&P 45 M2.0. I'm going to try to get out and shoot it on Saturday and I'll post a more indepth range review at that time but for now here's a quick look at her.

The 2.0 looks nice. I'm still a Glock guy though, although I have owned M&Ps (Shield, Compact and full-size all in 9mm), but ended up selling them all.
I just went the other way. I had all Glock handguns and moved to the M&P's. I just like the grip angle a bit better although I can adapt to just about anything.
That is the nice thing, we have lots of good choices out there and everyone should be able to find a firearm that meets his/her need and fits that person well.
I think as long as a person stays consistent i.e. all Glock or all S&W M&P/Shield or all Walther, ect. it's the best way to go since the manual of arms will be similar so training on one gun will help aid in using the others. That's why I don't have my Glocks anymore. After shooting my M&P a Glock just didn't "feel" right and I'm sure after shooting your Glock my M&P wouldn't point/shoot the same for you so that's where consistency comes into the mix.
